**CON-AMERICA ALERT**
Attorney Fred G. Daniels has been practicing law
since 1976. He used to claim his expertise was in real
estate law. He apparently was not making the kind of
money that suited his style, so he switched to being a
debt collector lawyer.
Partner George H. Norelli began his law career in 1984
who also claimed to be a real estate lawyer. He too
chose to make the career change from real estate law to
debt collector lawyer.
Along came another lawyer, Meredith E. Unger who joined
them as a debt collector and they all became a
franchisee for the most disgusting collection agency and
America's Worst; 'Collect (con) America'
As with all Con-America franchisee's Daniels & Norelli
rented an office in Westbury, NY, hired the usual mix of
con men, idiots, uneducated collectors and goons, who
set about the task of lying, cheating and harassing
consumers out of their money.
They are the typical 'Con-America' cesspool of
collector-goons using phony names and threats of
litigation, judgments, and civil suits if monies are not
immediately forthcoming. They use the telephone to
harass, oppress, intimidate, and threaten consumers.
Since
Daniels & Norelli (by their own admissions) NEVER did
debt collection work prior to becoming a 'Con-America'
franchisee, one wonders how much money they have
extorted from consumers under threats of legal actions
that they cannot or NEVER will take.
My reasons for EVERYONE avoiding this fraud of an
operation are:
They
are a part of the 'Collect America' network, which is as
bad as a debt collector can get.
This
appears (on the surface) to be Daniels & Norelli's
attempt to get rich quick, when (apparently) they
couldn't make it in their past attempts at practicing
law as real estate experts.
The
complaints I have fielded from consumers regarding this
collection agency are of vicious liars, thieves, con men
and extortionists, that they have working for them.
Blend it together and you have a perfect recipe to AVOID
theses con artists and goons at all costs.
If collectors for Daniels & Norelli are abusing you,
contact the New York State Bar with your complaints. If
you are being threatened, contact the New York FBI.
