Debt collector attorney Edward T. Burke, 64, of Katy, Texas has never won any “bright light” awards for his debt collection savvy. He has had a history of hiring overly-aggressive, under-trained debt collectors to do his dirty work, even when they screw up beyond the norm. Now comes one of the DUMBEST debt collection moves we have seen in a long time and Edward T. Burke has been roasted, skewered, basted, fried and nuked by a judge for being one of the DUMBEST debt collectors in Texas, if not the country. Most debt collectors are greedy to the point of being stupid (I’m smart because I have a law license?) and Burke is NO exception.
