Mr. Baumann likes to take those he is up against out into the hallways of the courtroom and brow beat them into giving up with threats such as "I can get a continuance, and you'll waste another day off from work to come down to the courthouse." When he IS beat, (which he can be, he doesn't represent the best equipped clients) he takes forever to fulfill his part. I had his clients beat, and they dropped their case, however, he took 3 days to get the dismissal down to the clerks office. Even his clients (and their law firm that Junior was of-counsel to) were amazed that he hadn't filed it when he had gotten it a week before!!! Avoid this guy, he is bad news!!!!!! The problem is some of these debt collectors only pay $75 to an attorney for a court appearance - in Houston, it could cost that much gas driving both ways.
