CONSUMER ALERT: The complaints are coming in faster than a Buffalo Blizzard on this group. Apparently they seem to think that extortion is legal in their attempts to collect on debts that they have NO documents to validate. Attorney Mark S. Aquino has proven in letters we saw that he has NO clue about debt collection law, so we expect the lawlessness to continue. We are not aware of a drug problem at Aurora Gold yet, however the tenacity of the calls, the level of threats and stupidity of this organization definitely points in that direction. Attorney Aquino can’t even compose a legal debt collection letter and owner William T. (Bill) Crawford is pulling all the strings. Time to turn up the heat, STOP sending them money, they are LIARS, CON MEN AND FOOLS! This is NOT a legitimate collection organization, it is a group of idiots trying to steal your money.
Bud Hibbs says
SURPRISE! Another bottom feeder surfaces from in and around Buffalo, NY, the DEBT COLLECTION CAPITAL of the WORLD! More problems from trashy debt collectors who think there is money in purchasing old, mostly worthless debts, then inflating them with the idea of making a quick buck at the expense of unsuspecting consumers. They collect using threats they are usually ill-prepared to carry out.
This one would not even have made our radar except for the volume of complaints we are receiving from visitors to our website. Here is one letter from a woman that caught my attention and perhaps their operation:
“I have never been treated with such contempt in my entire life. I was accused of fraud and of being on drugs. They threatened to call my neighbors and my relatives. They told me the police would be paying me a visit. What they didn't understand is that I'm not an idiot, and I'm not easily scared by people who can't go out and get a real job. I am an educated woman, and I caught on to their game faster than they caught on to the fact that they couldn't fool me. I faxed them the information they requested, along with a letter requesting they validate the debt they are claiming I owe. The letter also informed them to cease and desist all telephone correspondence with me. Of course, they still called. I am sickened by what these people called and did to not only me, but they also talked to my mother. Additionally, in the past couple of days I have found more people who have been harassed by Aurora, Gold, & Associates. I'm as mad for them as I am for myself. Even if this was a legitimate debt, no one deserves to be treated so badly.”
What this letter proves to me and should serve as a warning to others is that AURORA, GOLD & ASSOCIATES, LLC (besides having one of the dumbest names I have ever read) apparently is operating another typical ‘Buffalo Style’ debt collection operation where lies, threats and extortion appear to be the norm. This does not happen or go on within the organization without the knowledge and complicity of senior management and perhaps their attorney.
They do have an attorney on staff. 44 year old Mark Steven Aquino of Lancaster, NY, a 1992 graduate from the University of Buffalo Law School. Unfortunately I could not find a single item on Attorney Aquino that links him to any experience in debt collection or debt collection law. There is information to suggest he was good at handling traffic violations, but nothing anywhere on debt collections. I am not saying he is another ‘rent-a-lawyer’ however it seems to be common for WNY area attorneys to move into the debt collection industry, to go after the quick bucks it promises even if they have no experience in the laws regarding debt collection, especially if your chosen field is not making any money.
Based on complaints we’ve received, they are off to a terrible start and will likely find themselves in our cross hairs as things progress. We get a lot of current and former employees from WNY telling us how drug use is rampant in the collection industry, especially in places like Aurora Gold where there is a lot of pressure to produce. To make matters even worse the news for this latest junk debt collector gets really bad. A check of several websites indicates AURORA, GOLD & ASSOCIATES, LLC is operating illegally! We could not find one state where they have the requisite license and/or bond as required by law. Does Lancaster, NY Attorney and House Lawyer Mark Steven Aquino know that he could be putting his law license in possible jeopardy? Is he prepared for the consequences of being associated with a junk debt buyer that may not be able to produce legal documents that validate debts they are attempting to collect? Is he aware of the potential for lawsuits from consumer attorneys who learn his client is not licensed or bonded? Does Lawyer Mark have the ability to defend those claims and still be able to review every account sent out for litigation? Their website http://www.auroragoldassociates.com/ states the following:
“Aurora, Gold and Assoc. LLC has an Attorney on-site that does review every account prior to instituting legal action. There are attorneys on retainer in each state to pursue accounts to the fullest extent of the law in compliance with all state and federal guidelines.”
So does that means Attorney Aquino is familiar with the accounts, if they are still in statutes and has the legal documents necessary to file in various court jurisdictions? I can only assume that he is familiar with law, the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA) and is aware that a hearsay affidavit is not admissible in many jurisdictions. (A hearsay affidavit is when an employee of a junk debt buyer reads information off a computer screen and swears to it under penalty of perjury, a felony, to the truthfulness of the statements). Buffalo, NY has many current and former employees working at organizations like AURORA, GOLD & ASSOCIATES, LLC who have lied on these affidavits and could face the wrath of the legal system for their lies. These bogus affidavits are then notarized by another employee before being sent out to a debt collection attorney network who are paid a commission on what they collect.
The problem with junk debt buyers like AURORA, GOLD & ASSOCIATES, LLC is they pay pennies on the dollar for these old, mostly worthless accounts, then attempt to collect at highly inflated figures to make a profit. They place them on credit reports under the guise of being “accurate” under federal law, the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) when in reality; the junk debt buyers can’t prove anything. THEY ARE LIARS! Consumers will soon learn how to go after the owners of organizations like AURORA, GOLD & ASSOCIATES, LLC with lawsuits so they can take revenge on those who lie and use the credit reporting system as a tool of extortion for bogus debts.
Let us hear from you; call or write us about your dealings with AURORA, GOLD & ASSOCIATES, LLC, so that others can grade them by their actions. In the meantime, I am warning all consumers that based on their present mode of business and apparent abuse of consumers to stay far away from this organization of bullies and liars. If you work at AURORA, GOLD & ASSOCIATES, LLC and want to correct any inaccuracies written here, I invite your comments.
If it is deemed that AURORA, GOLD & ASSOCIATES, LLC continues to operate illegally and violates the rights of consumers, or if you receive any paperwork from them that purports to validate debts they are collecting, we want to know about it. If Attorney Mark Steven Aquino is involved in any type of debt collection/validation that gives the appearance of being improper, we will assist you in getting that information into the hands of the authorities in New York State and the New York State Bar. Attorney Aquino can be held responsible for his actions if they are deemed to be illegal or unethical. If AURORA, GOLD & ASSOCIATES, LLC proves by their actions they are operating legally and professionally this page will be removed and/or updated. If they continue on at their current pace and we receive credible information they are involved in a typical junk debt buyer scam, we will report it. We look forward to hearing from both sides on this issue. -Bud Hibbs
Ovtober 2008 It's been a while since I sent an email to you because the calls stopped all at once. I emailed the attorney general in both my state (OH) and New York concerning Aurora, Gold and Associates. They started to call me again at work and on my cell phone. I thought this would be over but I guess the system hasn't worked yet to put these criminals out of business. They are trying to extort money from me under false pretenses. I have never had a HSBC credit card or loan. They are claiming that I do and trying to threaten to garnish my wages and have me arrested. Keep in mind that I don't even have any bills and never have been sent a single piece of information from these people. I don't know how they got my name and old address. I do know how they retained my other information. My mom thought they were from the state of Ohio bureau of taxation because they led her to believe that, so she made the mistake of giving them my work number and cell phone number. Now when they call they don't even say who they are they just leave a recording saying that it is very important that I call 800-864-8154 and there is quite a lengthy pause before the recording comes on as a matter of fact it doesn't even record it on my voicemail it is so long. I got the message on the answering machine at work. The number where they are calling from shows up on my cell phone it is: 800-836-1939. If I can I will try to obtain the recording from work and send it to you.
August 2008 You looking for Steph Iannuzzi you can find her at Mackinon's AMS in Buffalo!!!! Cheryl too!
July 2008 They are still doing "business" in Florida. Nasty people. Sounds like the same scam everyone else getting from them.
July 2008 I've noticed that some of the companies that the debt is originally owed to will send the account to more than one agency. When that happens you get called and the left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing so whichever agency it is will say they have no record of any settlement. I have a feeling that sometimes they go into your credit report and take out information which means they may not own the debt. I end up getting called by TWO agencies and don't know which one to deal with. Or even to take it to court on. Is this legal to do.
July 2008 I just wanted to provide you with an update -- I sued Aurora, Gold and Associates and I just got a settlement! It's nice to make them pay for their illegal b.s. and their harassing calls! Thank you so much for all of your advice!
July 2008 Saw your request on the Americas Worst site asking about Stephanie Iannuzzi from Aurora. Bet you find her and her buddy Sheryl Meyers hacking old payday loans with the Mackinnons and Account Management in Buffalo.
May 2008 These people are threatening me with felony NSF checks which I DID NOT AUTHORIZE as well as being sued. After several sleepless nights I began searching for them on the web and realized they are a scam. You will make arrangements to pay them with their representatives who conveniently are no LONGER WITH THE COMPANY and then their senior associate will call and threaten you with such utter contempt as I have never seen before. They refuse to send you any documentation when asked shouting at you asking "When are you going to send my money". Not the company they represent, but "MY MONEY". I have filed a customer fraud complaint with the state of New York who are WELL AWARE of their activities explaining that what they are doing IS HIGHLY ILLEGAL. I have and will not send them ANY MONEY. (I'm sorry, you must be mistaken. They've been fined and cleaned up their act. They promised to be good and not lie to or threaten consumers. Nah, we're pulling your leg. They're the same lawbreakers they always were. How's Stephanie Iannuzzi?)
March 2008
I just found out about
Aurora Gold because I had not received my letter stating
that I was clear of my debt. I call to find out what is
going on and no answer. I look them up on the web and find
this web site. What are my options now.
New York State Office of Attorney Grievance Committees
Eight Judicial District 438 Main Street, 8th Floor
Buffalo, New York 14202
To Whom It May Concern:
I would like to file a complaint about Aurora Gold. I was
contacted by Aurora Gold to settle an outstanding debt that
I had with Bank of America in the amount of $6,348. I had
been working on paying off my debts and Bank of America was
the last one that I had to clear up. I went to my Credit
Union and took a personal loan to pay off my debt on January
8th and did a transfer to Aurora Gold. I had not received my
letter a week later stating that the debt was paid in full
so I called. I asked when I would receive the letter and
they told me I would have it in one month when all things
had cleared. Today February 22nd I attempted to call to get
my letter and the phone is disconnected.
I was contacted by Matt Stone and did my transaction was
done through Stephanie. I also spoke with a Kim at that
office. I would like to know what my options are. I found
that Aurora Gold and Associates have a federal lawsuit
against them. What steps can I take to recoup my money so
that I can pay my debt.

Robert E. (Bob) Bridges, of Greenwich, CT is the REAL owner of Aurora Gold. He has been arrested by the FBI at JFK airport, trying to flee charges of ripping off $5 million from investors, bond was set at $200K. William T. Crawford, III has several felony arrests for drugs, did time for it, I think he is back in prison for violating his parole. They encourage collectors to pose as attorneys to extort monies. Samantha Evans is really Stephanie Iannuzzi, of Lancaster, NY, she is 45 years old, married to a drug dealer who is currently on probation. She sued a former employer; National Action Financial Services (04-CV0382-WDNY) claiming discrimination on the job. She is a drug user, has a kid and will lie about anything, anytime, anywhere. Bridges and Iannuzzi buy and encourage employees to use 'spoof cards' which show a different name and number on the debtors caller i.d. Bob told the collectors to put in a local sheriff or police to make them think they will be arrested if they don't pay up immediately. I want your readers to know that this is now a federal crime and one more conviction will put Bridges away for life under the three strikes law. Most of the collectors do drugs, the place is a drugstore on paydays because everyone has money to get loaded, Stephanie and Bob just look the other way. This place won't be around long, the cops have already pegged it as a drug haven, most good collectors stay far away and those that work there are just waiting to be screwed out of their money and will quit. This place has the biggest losers in the collection business where everyone is paid to lie and extort monies, it's unbelievable what they get away with in screwing people out of their money. If anyone sees the name Newburyport Capital, LLC it's from Aurora Gold. That is the name that William Crawford used before he was busted by the Feds. Experian hasn't figured it out yet, so that account is still being used to access credit reports. This is everything you expect a Buffalo debt collector to be, convicted felons, mone

I am another person who
had another terrible experience with this company soon after
talking to a Marshall Michaels. In September of 2007
Marshall Michaels gave me 10 days to pay my debt or he
threatened sue me for the debt. In October 2007 i was
terrified when i was served with a summons from sheriff’s
dept because this company took me to court over my
originally debt of $6712.00. Although, I obtained an
attorney i still end up owing over $8000.00 because of allot
of legal fees and court cost. I thought that this company
was a fraud and could not sue me. Since i live in South
Carolina they could not garnish my wages rather they did
worse and got the courts to approve a sheriff's sale of my
personal assets which was embarrassing because they listed
the sale in the local news papers and everyone new about it.
Now since they got what they wanted by suing me what am I
now to do? I hate to say I wish I rather just paid off this
bill because Mr. Michaels did offer me a settlement but I
thought like many other companies that they were some scum
in the whole collection agency. If anyone ever gets a call
from this company; please stay away from Marshall Michaels
because his only desire is to sue anyone who doesn’t pay
him. I am thankful for this budhibbs website because it does
give good information about many companies but in my case
they were wrong about this company.
(We checked South Carolina records.
Aurora Gold hasn't been collecting long enough to set up a
sheriff's sale. This whole crock of a letter is from
an AG employee...)

Man these people are really screwed up in the head. I told Kim Andrews to go ahead and take me to court cause I never had the credit card they are talking about and that was two weeks ago. Yesterday I received a phone call that they are taking me to court in my County?!? What part of go ahead and take me to court don't they understand?
November 18, 2007
Aurora gold does not sue people and its obvious that an employee of their collection agency wrote that to try and make people think someone was sued! to be honest it looks like the work of one Matthew stone! he claims to be an attorney on every call and leaves it on machines as well. i would love to put this guy in his place!!! he deserves to be sued personally for threats and claiming to be an attorney. by federal and state laws u as the debtor have the right to sue not only the company but u can sue him for any amount of up to 500,000.00 dollars and i assure u he makes very good money there. on average his bonus checks are about 8000 a month and if i recall he got a close to 20,000.00 bonus about a year ago. u should please sue him for all he has if he ever contacts u. i am a very respected and LEGAL!!!! collector and hate people like him who give us collectors a bad name. please stop him!! if u get a call from Matthew stone please file suit with your attorney general within 24 hours of his contact!

I am one of the many unfortunate souls who have been contacted by the malicious wolves at Aurora Gold and Associates located in New York. I have never, in my life, been spoken to with such disrespect and complete disregard as I did with one of the associates from AGA. His name is Richard Abrams, and according to the company's stellar website, he is ironically titled as the "personnel manager." Throughout the numerous degrading phone calls from Abrams, I was essentially told that my life would be completed ruined if I did not pay off my debt immediately. The words that came out of this man's mouth left me feeling stripped of my dignity and sense of well-being. My rage then sent me on a mission to find out more about the collection agency, and that was how I stumbled upon this website. It's comforting to know that I am not the only woman that has been attacked by this agency. I went from feeling completely worthless to regaining my self-confidence. It was then that I "remembered" that I am a well-educated woman. At that moment, I decided not allow that ferocious behavior to continue. To anyone else out there who is reading this... You are not alone! Having a debt does not make you any less of a person! Lets find a way to bring these cowards down!
November 8, 2007
One of my siblings was contacted regarding a debt i have. A man left a message saying there was going to be a lawsuit if i didn't take care of the matter! My sibling communicated to me what was going on i then called Aurora Gold & Associates i spoke with someone whose name was mark Hammond he said i had many options i could wait until i was taken to court to pay about $14,000 or i could pay an amount of $10,000 i did speak with him for awhile until he came up with another offer to settle for half which would be $7,000. He knew i didn't have the money so he suggested for me to speak with my family to help me out. He requested the information of my family member who was going to take care of this he need a cleared check, routing #, account #, check #, full name of the person who had the account , and personal address. I couldn't get all the information right away so i did not give him any information. I did say i would call he later with that information. So now i have until tomorrow to take care of this... It was great i looked up online Aurora Gold & Associates website something just wasn't right. I then saw Budhibbs and the comments other people like me have about the association and well i think the best thing to do is deal with this matter straight with the bank!!! I am interested in paying what i owe!!!
November 7, 2007
These people are garnishing my wages . They called and told me they were going to sue me Mr Mathew Stone but I did not have the money to pay this was a $2000.00 credit card I was sued for 4700.00 almost 5k and I live paycheck to paycheck is it legal if the judge gave them a judgment to garnish my wages . How can they do this if they are not legitimate. I am going broke they take almost 500.00 a month and now holidays are here.
November 6, 2007
I previously posted a comment regarding Aurora, Gold & Associates and I just wanted to follow-up. My attorney will file against this bottom-feeder debt collector early in November. I kept very detailed phone records and as soon as I received any correspondence from this company, I immediately forwarded it to my attorney. I just wanted to thank you for expressing the importance of evidence collection. These idiots make it SO easy for lawyers - I was shocked at the things they threatened and demanded. Just as a side note.... I thought you would find this amusing - "Attorney Matthew Stone" was a character on the TV series "The Practice." Silly debt collectors.
November 5, 2007
Why is it these people keep calling and threaten on taking me to court and they don't give you any info on who they are colleting for. They just say to refer to a case number. I refuse to call anyone back if they don't even give you who you owe just that a case is pending. PSSSSHH!!!! WHAT THESE PEOPLE DON'T KNOW THAT IT IS PUBLIC KNOWLEDGE IF ANYONE HAS A CASE PENDING VIA COMPUTER AND NOTHING IS THERE AND NO "CERTIFIED" LETTERS HAVE BEEN SENT TO MY HOUSE????? THEY ARE THREATENING PEOPLE BY SAYING THE POLICE KNOW. GIVE ME A FLIPPEN BREAK I WASN'T BORN YESTERDAY LIKE THE POLICE REALLY CARE IF ANYONE OWES BACK MONEY TO A CO. I HAVE RECORDED ALL THREATS AND IF I'M BEING TAKEN TO COURT I WILL COUNTER SUE THEM ON THREATS AND HARASSMENT. I hope they read this and be prepared to fight my fire I'm giving back to them.
October 26, 2007
My husband received a
call from Aurora Gold & Associates a man who claimed to be
an attorney named Matthew Stone. He told my husband they
would be filing suit against us if we did not pay them 6k by
Friday he told my husband to take out a loan to pay them off
otherwise they would file suit against us... My husband
stated that we maybe willing to settle this if this is our
debt but we would not be able to come up with that amount
and taking out a loan to pay it was not reasonable to us.
We have advised them of that and they have said they will
file suit and garnish our wages and put a lien on our home.
We have asked that they work this out with us and the
"attorney" advised us it was a better deal for them to go to
court. I have never heard of this before as my understanding
is that most companies want to avoid court so we where very
suspicious.
My husband is called the man back today to request the debt
information in writing as we are not really even sure what
the debt is for and we are hoping to delay any suit filing
until we receive this information. The Man Matthew Stone
began to " go off" on my husband saying he is pathetic and
just making up excuses not to pay the debt and he is a low
life. My husband told him not to contact us via phone only
writing and hung up on him. A few moments later a Woman
Nicole called and left a voice message on my husbands cell
advising that she understood that Matthew and he had not
gotten off on the right foot and she would like to resolve
the debt with us. She later called a second time! Again we
specifically requested that they not contact us via phone-
Nice to see how well the listen.
We sent a letter requesting that they validate the debt...
We received a response back addressed to the incorrect
person but stating the debt was ours they did name a company
and said they would get the validation to us then stated we
better pay $6300 dollars by November 7th or the where filing
suit against us.
All of this seems very shady but we do not want to wind up
in a court room if they do happen to be legitimate.

I was recently contacted by "Attorney" Matthew Stone from Aurora, Gold & Associates. As he was calling about a debt that had passed the statute of limitations, my first impulse was to ignore him. However, the message he left threatened an impending lawsuit in my county. I played it for my boyfriend and he said the guy sounded all right, so I should give him a call back and see what he had to say.
I called him and he
said that they were going to sue me unless I promised to pay
$5,000 on an old debt. He said that the debt had ballooned
to 12,000 ("The price of a car" in his words) due to
interest, and that I could pay it off. He said they were
going to file THAT day, that they were going to garnish my
wages, and make it so I would be unable to open an bank
account for 10 years.. He wouldn't send me any paperwork
unless I gave him 2 other numbers and my banking account and
routing number with a posted check. Now, I was an idiot, and
I gave him the number to my work and my work fax, and the
banking numbers. I then looked up the statute of
limitations, and saw that he was full of it. I canceled my
account. Yesterday he called me about 4 times, he called my
work, AND HE CALLED MY NEIGHBOR, whom I had never met,
saying that there was a case against me in my county, and he
needed to get in touch with me. He told my neighbor that he
knew everyone in the building and had called them until he
got that guy. What do I do? -RC, MD
Response: RC: There is NO attorney
there named Matthew Stone, you were likely talking to a debt
collector who WAS stoned, as most working at Aurora Gold
appear to be on drugs, based on the calls and letters we
receive. There is an attorney working there named Mark
Steven Aquino (currently un-indicted) who rents out his law
license in between drunk driving cases and preparing wills,
according to information we have. Aurora Gold appears to be
inhabited by the same type criminals who work at other
Buffalo, NY area debt collectors. All have extremely bad
reputations, most are illegal debt collectors. Our
information suggests they may be the same criminals who use
drugs and feel it's easier to lie, threaten and extort
monies then to collect legally. We STRONGLY urge anyone
being contacted by Aurora Gold drug ...err debt collectors
NOT to have any dealings with them and to contact us for
assistance and referral to law enforcement, the NYS bar and
consumer law professionals.

Aurora Gold tried to scam me by saying a lawsuit was filed against me, that my bank account was being garnished and I would have my wages garnished. What a bunch of liars! These people are trash, all they do is scream and make threats. I asked the girl if she was on drugs, she went into a rage, that was a good enough answer for me. Warn your readers they are such a scam, not to give into the threats and lies they spew out. The lawyer told me to tape the calls because they will say things that are illegal that he can sue them on. He said that they will likely fold up at some point or be sued into bankruptcy so warn anyone they call NOT to send them any money.
October 10, 2007
I received a phone call at work from Aurora, Gold and Associates at work claiming I owed a debt from an account that was supposedly opened in May of 1998. They said a lawsuit was to be filed by their associate counsel in my state. They also called my parents harassing them. They offered me a settlement amount, but when I sent them a certified letter disputing the debt and asked for verification of debt under the FDCPA within 30 days. All I got was a form letter on their letterhead offering the same settlement offer. Then a week later I got a letter from their "attorney" Mark S. Aquino which didn't have my correct name, it had several errors and didn't look professional at all. He did not provide me with the original creditor information, he did name the creditor but the account number and amount was different. He stated he will provide me with the information but I need to settle the account by a certain date or legal action will be taken. I will be seeking legal counsel, all I want is proof if they have it.
Sept 26, 2007
I was first contacted by Aurora, Gold & Associates, LLC yesterday. They called from a number marked “Private” on my Caller ID and left a message saying there was a pending suit scheduled to be filed against me in the county in which I live. Then a few minutes later, there was a call on my Caller ID from a local number which was mysteriously one digit off from my previous home phone number (we recently purchased a home in a new subdivision and had to change our phone number, even though we moved just across town). My voice mail listed the message as coming from the local number, but it was this SAME “representative” from Aurora, Gold & Assocs. telling me I need to have my husband or attorney contact him. Then a few minutes later, I got a call from my parents’ home number (they live in another city in my state) and when I answered it, it was this SAME man again! I had never even heard of Caller ID “spoofing” before, but apparently it is a common practice with bottom-feeder debt collectors. There were several more calls during the following hour – I believe they called a total of seven times in one hour. Then I started getting calls from both my parents and my in-laws stating that this man had called them as well. He left a message on my parents’ answering machine stating I was being sued and I needed to contact his office. He actually spoke with my mother-in-law on the phone and told her that I was being sued because I didn’t pay my debts and he demanded her to give him my contact information. She didn’t, of course, but she called me immediately to let me know what was going on. I am not saying that this may not be a legitimate debt, but it would have to be from at least five or six years ago and it couldn’t have been anything too serious since my husband and I just bought a house not three months ago and our credit was thoroughly examined in the process. I have no idea what company with which this debt originated, since they have never told me nor sent me a letter to inform me of such. I understand that bad debts should have the right to be collected and I understand that people are responsible for paying their debts, but I will not be bullied or threatened. This morning I contacted a Law Office in my state and discussed my situation with them and they are looking into the possibility of filing suit against Aurora, Gold & Assocs. for violating fair debt collection laws. It’s time we stand up to these companies and fight back. I encourage everyone to fight for their rights against unfair debt collection practices.
Sept 24, 2007
Bud you are 100% correct on this bottom feeder. Attorney Mark S. Aquino sent me a collection letter on Aurora Gold letterhead that had four federal violations on it. My attorney read your site and told me Aquino should have stayed a traffic lawyer because he has no idea of what he is doing. I have a tape of his thugs threatening me with jail if I don't succumb to their threats of extortion. Between the stupidity of Attorney Mark S. Aquino and the tape of them making a (felony?) threat, we expect to collect a fat payday from these lowlife's of the collection industry. Thanks for your info, I would not have done this without there great assistance you provide to consumers, anyone being contacted by the thugs of Aurora Gold or idiot lawyer Mark Aquino should heed your advice. They will be paying out a hell of a lot more money than they will be collecting from me. No one should send them money they are too STUPID!
