I am a ex-partner and worked for these clowns for about 6 months. I would of left earlier but Steve Garcia was trying to open his own collection agency and asked me to stick around so I could help him steal clients away from them.

They are drop outs of Allen, Lewis & Associates. They do not pay clients, rather then pay themselves first. Steven Garcia and Phil are thieves. They use legal jargon and the fact that they collect payday loans as leverage and then scare you with jail time. It is 3 people working out of their homes with NO licenses harassing people ALL day long. They owe more money to their clients than what to expect from there own collections. They will take a check over the phone and run it till it clears not caring about the fees they occur on your bank account.

Please stay away from them, and if they contact you call the Banking and Finance Commission in Tallahassee Florida.

I took out a payday loan of $400 through Apple Fast Cash Personal Loans in Sept. of 2004. I made all payments totaling $771 and these crooks still claimed I owed $156. They turned this over to American Legal in March 2005. A Billy Black called my landlord demanding payment and was told to contact me immediately about the matter. He also called my daughter harassing her about the matter. I called him and he told me I owed Apple Corp. $556 and the matter could be taken care of by doing a check by phone. I told him I owed nothing to Apple Corp., I did not have a checking account and I wanted proof of the debt in writing. Mr. Black became very abusive telling me I did owe the $556 and it had to be taken care of immediately or they would ruin my credit, then hung up on me. American Legal is still harassing me, my landlord and my daughter for the money. Currently I am ignoring all calls from them. They also go by the name Law Offices of American Legal at the same address.
