This organization hit our radar very recently and my initial reaction was that nobody collecting on junk debts could be this stupid, but sure enough, owner Michael Conflitti has proven me wrong. Some of you may recognize his name; he was the former owner of Commonwealth Financial Systems, Inc. of Scranton, PA an organization that suffered from a very poor reputation. 

Conflitti has been away from the business now for almost six years and apparently has been studying ideas on how to scam consumers because his new business is a class action lawsuit that may have already happened. To say his business practices appear to violate the law is an understatement. He will likely not survive the legal claims that are and will be brought against him, based on his initial mailings from a reported $170 million Chase portfolio he is attempting to fleece consumer into paying on and his BOGUS court filings in a PA court. 

This is a classic of how NOT to collect debts 101 for any FDCPA collector or attorney, Conflitti has stepped so far over the line he may put the slimy debt collectors from Buffalo, NY to shame and bring many happy paychecks to consumers and consumer attorneys who sue him. He appears to be steering consumers to his mortgage company AM Mortgage Brokers, same address, in an attempt to secure these UNSECURED credit cards with a home loan.

 DO NOT FALL FOR THIS SCAM! 

When I first read his initial letter to an alleged debtor my thought was... “This guy is a wacko who has no clue what he is doing because nobody is that stupid to make those type statements…” but I was wrong when I found out that he is and his past experience as a debt collector. Several attorneys who reviewed ACC letters were shocked at how many times they violated federal law, the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA). 

Wait…it gets worse! Conflitti (we do not know what his current mental state is) is actually filing cases from Lackawanna County, Old Forge, PA against consumers in an apparent attempt to fleece consumers in a new scam to extort monies. The cases are being filed with perjured statements made by (idiot?) Conflitti with the apparent aim of obtaining default judgments, so he can further bolster his portfolio. This is a classic scam that defies what other con artists have done; Conflitti has taken the debt collection scam to a new low. Consumers must react to this illegal fleecing and nail him with lawsuits until he is gone. This is a disgrace of the collection industry, flagrant abuse of the legal system intertwined with lies and false statements in an attempt to unjustly enrich him with monies he is NOT entitled to.  

CAUTION: I recommend you NEVER disclose your bank account or credit card information to a debt collector, as you risk them emptying your account, or maxing out your credit card. If you feel they are reporting on your credit bureau files in error or need assistance in dealing with them, email  the details w/your location.  Assistance and referral to a consumer legal specialist may be available.    Email for Assistance
