August 2008   I used to work for Alliance Work, they fired me for asking Muslim woman on the first day of spring if her religious dress came in a spring line, she had been joking with the man next to me that I was sitting with...management didn't' seem to care about the racial remarks she made in front of other people after I made a harmless joke.. they put an put in the paper for new employees saying they would make a certain amount of money and then never game them the opportunity to make that money.  they put me in a group that was a sinking ship and laid everyone off in that group about two months later.

July 2008   This company has been calling my home for at least 2 months. The person they are trying to reach no longer lives at this number. I have told them this EVERY time they call. I have also called back to let them know that my number is on a do-not-call-list. They "say" they have made a note of it, but it has not stopped the calls. They call as early as 8:45am and as late as 9pm. When they ask for the person who no longer lives here, I ask who is calling. They are very reluctant to give even the company name. When you call back, they answer by saying "hello", not a company name.  1-866-699-0981

July 2008   Alliance One calls my job numerous times a day after being told numerous times that I would lose my job if the phone calls kept coming in. I had made payment arrangements with alliance one for 205.00 per month to settle my debt. I would do electronic checks with them. Until they took 205.00 twice within three days. Julia from alliance one claims that I gave her the approval. If I wanted to pay 410.00 wouldn't it have been in the form of one payment instead of two? Any how they refused to transfer the 205.00 back into my bank account. I have told them that I will not give them any money. Let them try to sue

April 2008   They called me and hung up on me each time with their auto dialer. When I called them to let them know they were calling a cell phone they hung up on me. I then called them to let them know that I would like my number removed from the system and for them to send a letter regarding the situation. They hung up on me several times after (i did not raise my voice and I was very civil with them). After, the 4th phone call I asked for a supervisor so they could give me their physical address and they gave me a PO BOX then hung up on me. I then received another phone call from them with the hang up so I called them back. When I called them back the lady said "Lady find something else to do" then hung up on me. This company is unprofessional and does not respect the law.

2007  We fell on tough times when my husband resigned from his job in January 2006, and I went on maternity leave that following July. This resulted in being unable to pay my husband's Capitol One card. We were contacted numerous times by some real shady characters with Alliance One. Then last month we received a letter from them stating how we could settle the debt. When we made the phone call to them, we talked to a very sincere and professional woman by the name of Jennifer who assisted us with the settlement. We will be paying off the settlement in two payments, with the final payment being in July. We know this is the exception and not the rule with this particular collection agency, but I wanted to share both our good and bad experiences with "Alliance Gone".

2007  I received a writ of garnishment yesterday, actually my employer did. Well thing isI did not receive anything from court stating that this will be file or for me to dispute the loan or anything else. When i called Alliance one they let me know that i talked to an angela in January and i have been dealing with her. which i can tell you that i have tried to make payment arrangements and the lady i talked to was not helpful letting me know i can send whatever whenever. Did not give me an address or anything to send payment to. Now they want to garnish my wages without letting me know anything. The debt i owe is about 5/7 yrs old i think in unpaid ticket

2007  I have been receiving several phone calls a day about a chase bank card from 1999. The SOL would have expired in 2003 but since it is not my debt, I don't consider it my problem. I have sent them a CD letter but they continue to call daily and have sent a letter that stated they understood I was having financial difficulties so they would work out these three payment options with me and I had 30 days to send in the money on one of the options. These people just don't get what cease communication means. I'll report what they are doing and that they have changed the dates on the debt to the credit bureaus and have combined my husbands and my name to make it one name. How interesting. I don't mind paying what I owe but I don't want to pay what an ex owes.

2007  Alliance One called me fifteen times yesterday, and already has four logged today. They never leave a voicemail. I have penned my C&D and will issue to the headquarters address listed here at BudHibbs.com. First, however, I plan to answer and fully record one of their calls, asking questions from a suggested list to determine their level of intent to deceive. I anxiously look forward to filing a lawsuit against these harassment specialists and also the likes of McKelvey Law Offices.

2007   Alliance One was sent, and received, a cease and desist/demand for validation letter on Feb 5 2007. They have continued to call almost daily since. They have sent a letter from their dispute department stating that they cannot find any account associated with our name, but the calls keep coming. They have been reported to the FTC and the AZ State Attorney General, but they keep trying to call. These idiots need to get roasted.

2007  Alliance One, Inc., continues to phone me at my office and threatens anyone who answers the phone and saying that they will sue for $706 for a debt they purchased from Cross Country Bank in 2003. They also tell me that the delinquency will stay on my credit report for 12 years and may never come off. They call past 10:00pm and say that the debt needs to be paid or they will call my employer, etc., I want this harassment to stop. I've told them several times to cease and desist calling me.

2007  My wife received a collection notice from Alliance One in PA., and we immediately shot off a registered Debt Validation letter to a correspondence address in Maumee OH. They signed for it 22 Jan.

You don't have the Maumee OH location listed and I was wondering what the correspondence location does besides sign for letters. We continue to receive calls almost daily from some babbling female who calls herself Sayon. She swears on a side of bacon that the system shows no correspondence. I'm actually beginning to believe the poor soul because she becomes so frazzled at the least bit of interrogation that she hangs up the phone. I'm about on the verge of calling EMS to tend to this poor soul but she refuses to tell me her location or phone number.

If Alliance One happens to surf your site Bud, which I'm sure any god fearing collection agency does from time to time, I wish they will update the system so their call center employees have some information at their disposal so they can talk intelligently to customers and not have to hang the phone up do to lack of information.

If not for the humor their call center gives I would send them a cease communication letter.

2007  John called me and started making demands and telling me what a deadbeat I am for having debt, he told me he was calling from Capitol One and when questioned continued to maintain he worked for Capitol One. He screwed and said his "client" and I had him. I called him on the fact that he was a debt collector and not Capitol One and he hung up. I had gotten his phone number and extension and called him back, 4 times before he would pick up, he continued to belittle me for having debt, this is on my new wife's credit card by the way, and then hung up again, after 5 more calls his supervisor finally answered. I asked for proof that they were contracted to collect this debt and she said, "it's in the mail", click.
