Bottom feeder attorneys collecting for scavengers such as First American Investments, Buffalo, NY. They are usually paid a commission on what they collect for filing lawsuits on old, mostly worthless debts that may contain manufactured documents such as affidavits and bogus pleadings. These type attorneys usually are severely lacking in Fair Debt Collection Practices Act experience and hope consumers will not show up in court, so they can obtain a default judgment.
Due to their lack of experience, many consumers may find these cases can be dismissed, perhaps even collected on, if handled properly.

Consumers are warned that Winn and Simms may be attempting to collect on debts that are likely bogus, time barred by statutes, which cannot meet legal verification requirements. You should NOT send Winn and Simms any money until/unless they are made to comply with federal law, the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA).
