Quick Analysis
Consumer Comments Below
Texas Attorney Jay A. Taylor is not a bad guy; he’s been around this
business for a long time (licensed in 1982) and has represented a long list
of debt collectors and bottom feeders. My problem with Jay and the reason
for his making this site is one of his current clients; Portfolio Recovery
Associates, LLC, Norfolk, VA, (PRA), a bottom feeder collector of old,
mostly worthless debts.
Jay and PRA are engaged in a criminal conspiracy to rip of consumers with
those phony Providian Bank purchased accounts, sold to bottom feeders such
as PRA. The problem with those accounts is that PRA hired Taylor to file
lawsuits on Texas residents. Therein lies the problem. PRA does not have any
original documentation from Providian, they paid pennies for these accounts
and documentation proving the validity of them was never a part of the deal.
PRA uses its own employees to manufacture documents, in-house for use in
court filings by Taylor. In this case, the phony documents are produced and
signed by PRA employee Delvania Rush, of Norfolk, VA and notarized by
another PRA employee; Dionne L. Lawson. None of what they state in their
document titled; ‘VERIFICATION OF STATEMENT OF ACCOUNT AND AFFIDAVIT OF LAST
KNOWN ADDRESS’ is true, all lies, used to fool the courts and cheat
consumers out of their money. Delvania even lies about her knowledge of
military service and the competency of the alleged debtors.
Lawyer, debt collector, Jay A. Taylor has certainly had his share of rough
road in the last year; however this latest foray with slimy bottom feeders
Portfolio Recovery Associates is really scraping the bottom of the dumpster.
Jay and PRA will soon realize that liars like Delvania can be made to come
to Texas and testify to the truthfulness of her statements. That will never
happen because Delvania won’t commit perjury in Texas or face the
possibility of felony charges for her blatant disregard for the law and
consumer right. I’m sure her defense will be the standard posed by signors
of these phony affidavits, “I was only doing what my boss told me to do.”
Ignorance is no excuse Delvania Rush; you are a liar and have committed a
crime!
Jay Andrew Taylor, Texas State Bar # 19703500, you are put on notice that
the state bar will receive complaints on future lawsuits filed by you that
contain these phony, manufactured affidavits.
Texas consumers sued by the idiots at PRA and Jay Taylor rejoice, as there
is good news. Texas has some of the best consumer attorneys in the country
who are ready to assist you in dealing with PRA’s bogus suits and attorney
Taylor. PRA has deep pockets, which means successful counter suits could
result in your attorney fees being paid by them and the suit dismissed. I
also suggest you demand forgiveness of debt and removal from credit bureau
reporting in the terms of settlement. After all, it isn’t as though PRA has
a legal leg to stand on, they lie and cheat, get caught, you benefit by
their stupidity.
Stay far away from Portfolio Recovery Associates, they are bad news! Liars
like Delvania Rush and her associates will soon learn how the long arm of
the law can reach out and slap her in VA, for the lies and falsehoods she
has perpetrated. Jay A. Taylor, Attorney at Law, just hit another bump in
the road of a debt collector. Hang on Jay, your name and reputations
are not totally destroyed.
Contact me if you are a victim of PRA and Attorney Taylor, I will introduce
you to REAL attorneys who are experts in dealing with their lies and
falsehoods. Let’s show these slimy debt collectors how consumers in Texas
deal with them.
CAUTION:
I recommend you
NEVER
disclose your bank account or credit card information to a debt collector, as you
risk them emptying your account, or maxing out your
credit card. If you feel they are reporting on your
credit bureau files in error or need assistance in
dealing with them, email the details
w/your
location. Assistance and referral to a consumer
legal specialist may be available.
