This is an organization with a long and sordid history
of problems ranging from allegations of rampant drug use to its absentee
owner Jeffrey Schreiber living in Marion, Indiana. They changed their name
from Schreiber and Associates to Harris & Dial in an apparent attempt to put
a clean face on an old and dirty problem. They were featured in a Boston
Globe article called “Buyer Beware” and have suffered the wrath of MA
Attorney General’s office along with the Globe.
Jeffrey Schreiber has contacted me in the past to defend
the comments posted here, especially on incident where his collectors were
harassing an American soldier serving overseas. He claims things have
changed, that the operation has been cleaned up, however you, the consumer
are the ultimate judge and we want to hear from you. Paying Schreiber and/or
Harris & Dial is NOT going to help you or your credit situation, so be
careful on making any deals.
