Here is yet another
oxymoron of the debt collection industry. This firm appears to be like a zillion
other clone law firms, they have all the requisite credentials (although most
are lacking in legal credentials outside of debt collection except Bill the
actor,) they have their pictures taken in the library, joined the right clubs,
etc.
Even the Boss Debt Collector; John E. Buffaloe, Jr. has a resume that many
attorneys would envy. Collecting debts is okay, it pays the bills although NOT
the most honorable area of the legal profession, not something that (in my
opinion) would motivate someone to bust butt in law school for.
"DAD, MOM I'M GOING TO LAW SCHOOL TO BE A DEBT COLLECTOR LAWYER SO I CAN SUE
UNSOPHISTICATED CONSUMERS AND LIVE OFF THEIR GARNISHED WAGES"
My problem with this Nashville firm of mis-applied law licenses is the slime
they represent, like World Wide Asset Purchasing (WWAP) of Atlanta, GA. All of
the hard work, degrees, accolades, and puffery contained on their website are
flushed down the toilet when you see a name like WWAP as their client.
Here is how it works: WWAP and the 'Hanna-Slime' contract with BDC Buffaloe, Jr.
and his group to collect on seemingly worthless accounts they purchased for
pennies. Hanna produces "BOGUS" documents that purport to give validity to these
worthless accounts that are then sued upon in TN courts.
Unsophisticated consumers are led to believe they are legitimate, most take
default judgments and are then subject to the wrath of these bottom-feeders who
cash their paychecks that resulted from the garnished wages of these poor TN
residents.
This is and will always considered to be "Legalized Racketeering" because it is
so one sided. The only thing worse than this is when the bottom-feeders like
WWAP and Buffaloe steal your money via arbitration.
CAUTION:
I recommend you
NEVER
disclose your bank account or credit card information to a debt collector, as you
risk them emptying your account, or maxing out your
credit card. If you feel they are reporting on your
credit bureau files in error or need assistance in
dealing with them, email the details
w/your
location. Assistance and referral to a consumer
legal specialist may be available.
