Debt collector attorney Steven Booska and his associates appear, up until now, to have a good name and reputation. His academic credentials, experience and law practice all appear to be on track for a successful future. His name and reputation appear to be clean of any controversy; his debt collection practice is as clean as any debt collector could be.

Unfortunately for them, that may not last. Letters going out to California residents under his name and signature state that he is now collecting for one of the most notorious bottom-feeder debt collectors in the nation, UNIFUND of Cincinnati, Ohio. Steven, Linda and Linda may not be aware UNIFUND’S reputation is not as good as his; in fact it’s bad, VERY bad. They are considered one of the WORST bottom-feeder debt collectors.

CAUTION: I recommend you NEVER disclose your bank account or credit card information to a debt collector, as you risk them emptying your account, or maxing out your credit card. If you feel they are reporting on your credit bureau files in error or need assistance in dealing with them, email  the details w/your location.  Assistance and referral to a consumer legal specialist may be available.
